About RSCP


About Us

The Recreation and Sports Club for Hong Kong Professional Bodies (“RSCP”) was registered under the Societies Ordinance in 2013, inheriting the history, team spirit and contributions accumulated from the Joint Professional Sports Committee (“JPSC”) which was founded in 2005. The objects of RSCP include: -

 

a. To establish, promote and carry on an association for the Members and to maintain and foster bonds of friendship among Members and other Professional Bodies or Organisations;

b. To promote recreational and sporting activities among Members;

c. To coordinate participation in matches and competitions among Members, offer and grant or contribute towards provision of prizes and awards;

d. To raise funds and receive donations for furtherance of the aims of the RSCP or give other support financial or otherwise to persons or organisations for such purposes or conducive to the aims of RSCP as RSCP deems fit;

e. To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the general good of society or to the attainment of the aims of RSCP.

Each Member takes turn to nominate a representative to serve as Chairman who chairs the Standing Committee and Members Committee, where all Members are represented.  The Patrons, current and past Chairmen of RSCP (including the former JPSC), and Nominated Representatives of each Member at RSCP, are listed below (in alphabetical order of Members' names):

Activities

RSCP organises sports and recreational events in furtherance of its objects.  Regular events include badminton, basketball, bowling, bridge, dragon boat, football, golf, marathon, singing, snooker, volleyball, tennis, table tennis competitions and annual dinner party, Ad hoc events include cooking competition and war game.
